Sami experience centre and place to stay in Kjøllefjord, Lebesby municipality in Finnmark, run by the Utsi family. Reindeer herding is the family's main livelihood, and they share Sami culture and craft with visitors. The centre lies 8 km outside Kjøllefjord and has two fully equipped cabins with their own bathrooms, tastefully furnished in Sami style. Breakfast and storytelling are served in the jordgammen (traditional turf hut). As part of "Taste of Nordkyn" they offer smoked reindeer meat as their signature dish, cooked over an open fire with fresh accompaniments. Traditional Sami meals and duodji (Sami handicraft) are for sale. Insight into the history and cultural heritage of the indigenous people of northern Norway.
