Smak av Nordhordland brings together local food and drink producers and eateries in the Nordhordland UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — the first in Norway, designated on 19 June 2019. The area covers the municipalities of Alver, Austrheim, Fedje, Gulen, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy and Vaksdal. The network focuses on sustainable food processing, local raw ingredients, food traditions and developing the local food industry in the region. The contact person is project manager Hildegunn Opdal.
