Local food in Bygland

Local microbrewery in Bygland municipality in Setesdal, founded in 2017 by brewer Torkjel Austad. It brews in the traditional way with kveik (Norwegian farmhouse yeast) and juniper branches from Austadheia. Products include Setesdalspils and several other local beer styles. A proud custodian of Norwegian brewing traditions.

Natural animal husbandry with Mangalica wool pigs in Bygland, Setesdal. Pigs for slaughter come from the farm's own sows, and all the animals are outdoors on large areas of land all year round. Meat products from free-range wool pigs. Sold through Bondens marked (farmers' market) and an online shop.
