Arktisk Kje in Tromsø offers Meat — find contact details below.
Arktisk kje is a shared brand for 34 proud goat farmers in Troms and Nordland. The farmers each worked on their own, but wanted to make use of the kids as a resource rather than let them go to waste. They graze the goat kids on Arctic mountain pasture to a higher slaughter weight, and the meat is processed at Mydland before being sold to restaurants and grocery stores and directly to customers at markets. The project also includes a "kid hotel" for gathering and feeding the goat kids efficiently.
