Avdemsbue is a historic general store from 1878 (the present shop premises date from 1938) that reopened in 2015 as a local food shop and cheese café owned by Avdem Gardsysteri AS. It sits on the E136, about 3 km west of the centre of Lesja in Gudbrandsdalen. It sells every product from Avdem Gardsysteri as well as cheeses from 12-20 other Norwegian dairies, beer from 20-25 microbreweries, cured meats, smoked fish, coffee, tea, flour, cordial and jam. The cheese café serves freshly made rømmegrøtvafler (waffles made with sour cream porridge), ice cream and coffee.
