Hol Ysteri lies in the heart of Ostebygda in Hallingdal and makes goat's cheese from the mountain summer farms in the area. The dairy was awarded the trophy for "Best New Cheese" at the cheese world championship (World Cheese Awards) 2024 for Leirgrøv Naturell Vellagra, and "Best Norwegian Cheese" in 2025 for Leirgrøv Stølsmjølk. Visitors can watch the cheesemaking and the maturing cellars at close range. There is also a local food shop on site with food service and takeaway.
