Orkladal Ysteri was founded in 2004 by Merethe Landrø in Råbygda (Gjølme), Orkland municipality. The dairy produced just over 8 tonnes of cheese in 2023. It specialises in hand-salted and hand-tended matured cheeses with a natural rind. It distributes via Meny, the Coop chain and specialist shops throughout Norway. The farm shop is open around the clock (self-service). Space for courses and events.
