Tinghuset is a historic house from the 1700s on Sandsøy in Senja — originally the sheriff's residence and courthouse, renovated in 2019 into a farm shop and bakery. Sells fresh sourdough baked goods (most of them lactose-free), bokna lamb (lightly salted, semi-dried lamb), fresh-frozen lamb cuts from Nordsand Gård, villsau (Old Norwegian heritage sheep) skins, eggs, local vegetables, homemade jam, honey, cheese and sausages. Bokna lamb and frozen cuts can be ordered via Matfra.no with delivery to the Harstad region.
