Local food in Stange

Atlungstad Brenneri by Lake Mjøsa is Norway's oldest potato distillery still in operation, with good flavours since 1855. The distillery is a living piece of cultural heritage and offers guided tours and aquavit tastings, and it has its own restaurant where aquavit spices set the tone. The premises are also hired out for weddings, confirmations, memorial gatherings and meetings.

To see beautiful illustrations and hear the story of Napoleon's funeral, you need not travel all the way to Paris and the Dôme des Invalides. A trip to Røhne nedre will do nicely.
