Hjerttind Rein is a Sámi reindeer-herding producer from Sørreisa in Troms, run by Lars Ante Oskal. The family has a long tradition of reindeer herding and processes meat from its own reindeer. Products include fresh and dried reindeer meat, sausages and traditional Sámi specialities. The animals graze freely in the mountain areas of Troms, and processing takes place locally with a focus on locally sourced food and Sámi food culture. Hjerttind Rein supplies private customers, restaurants and local shops in Northern Norway.
