Alm Østre is a closed-loop farm in Stange Vestbygd and the oldest biodynamic farm still in operation in Norway – farmed biodynamically since 1974. With 25 cows, sheep, pigs and hens, we grow 30 varieties of vegetables and 6 varieties of grain on 540 dekar (about 54 hectares). The grain is milled on a stone mill, and the milk is made into yoghurt and quark.
