Atlungstad Brenneri by Lake Mjøsa is Norway's oldest potato distillery still in operation, with good flavours since 1855. The distillery is a living piece of cultural heritage and offers guided tours and aquavit tastings, and it has its own restaurant where aquavit spices set the tone. The premises are also hired out for weddings, confirmations, memorial gatherings and meetings.

Welcome to Røhne nedre. But why Napoleon? At Stange, of all places? To see beautiful illustrations and hear the story of Napoleon's funeral, you need not travel all the way to Paris and the Dôme des Invalides. A trip to Røhne nedre will do nicely. Avdem Gardsysteri makes cheese from fresh, unpasteurised milk from its own cows. The flavour of the products comes from lush pasture grass and fresh hay, long traditions and fine craftsmanship, and the operation runs on bioenergy produced on the farm itself. Several of the products have been awarded Spesialitet-merket (the Spesialitet label). The products are sold at Avdemsbue, a country store originally dating from 1878.

Hugsotte Samdrift is a community-supported agriculture farm in Skjåk municipality that runs dairy production. The joint operation is based on cooperative ownership, in which several smaller farms pool their resources for efficient running.

Cheesemaking has long been a tradition in Valdres. The knowledge was handed down through the generations, and it was common to make cheese at the mountain summer farms during the summer.

In Heidal and the rest of Gudbrandsdalen, brown cheese and prim (soft whey spread) have roots going all the way back to the 1600s, and probably further. Heidalsosten grew out of age-old traditions and took the form we know today in 1921.

Lillehammer Bryggeri was established in 1847. In the 1980s the brewery was bought up and shut down by Ringnes. In 2006 it was re-established as one of the first 5-6 microbreweries in Norway.

Along the forest edge and on open pastures our animals grow up the natural way, with plenty of room, fresh air and peace around them. Cattle and game are allowed to live at their own pace — and that gives meat with deeper flavour and more distinct character.

Sveahjort in Løten is run by Rita Helen Rønning and Bjørn Åge Gundersen at the farm Sveen Østre, which they bought in 2012. They farm deer and sell venison locally.

Storeggen gård is a local food producer in Tynset. The farm has an idyllic setting on the upper side of the Glomma, right by national road 3, which for many is the preferred route between Oslo and Trondheim.
